Mixed this time around by the musical know-it-alls that are Glasgow’s Optimo DJs, this is like a ‘Radio Soulwax’ for Wire fans.
Mixed this time around by the musical know-it-alls that are Glasgow’s Optimo DJs, this is like a ‘Radio Soulwax’ for Wire fans. Transcending the increasingly bog-standard ‘electro-meets-rock and roll’ currently blaring out of every second hipster club in favour of clued-in experimentalism, this somehow combines German minimalism from the likes of Lucaino, Villalobos and co with Soft Cell, Revolting Cocks, Suicide and The Cramps via Basic Channel, Os Mutantes, Cameo, Carl Craig and Loose Joints. Wow.
