Housekeepin'
Sneak is a true house master – and this is a worthy testament to the big man.
Sneak is a true house master – and this is a worthy testament to the big man. Housekeepin’ isn’t just a DJ album, but more of an attempt to cover all his reference points. Hence we get the singles (‘Fix My Sink’, the brilliant ‘Que Pasa’), the club tracks (‘The Gas’ – a sister to Green Velvet’s ‘Flash’) and the sounds of his youth (’80s electro funk on ‘Incredible’). Recorded using live instruments, this is more than just a DJ LP – it’s something you can get stuck into and for Sneak to be proud of.
