Hot For 2020 Irish Acts: Æ MAK

With a fearlessly experimental approach to songwriting, the Dundalk art-popper has built up a cult following in both Ireland and the States where she’s been garnering crucial college radio airplay. The Bjork and Roisin Murphy comparisons that have come her way are merited, but only tell a fraction of the Æ MAK story. Due later in the year, her debut album could prove to be something of a landmark.
