Hope For Haiti album number one in America
It's available for iTunes download in Ireland now.
The Hope For Haiti album seems to be getting its message out, with enough Americans – 171,000 and rising – downloading it to make it number one on the Billboard 200.
It’s the first digital download to grab the top spot in the chart’s 54-year history.
The collection includes U2, Jay-Z and Rihanna’s studio clarion call ‘Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)’ plus live telethon offerings from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Shakira, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Dave Matthews & Neil Young.
