Hobo Johnson and The Lovemakers announce Vicar Street gig in 2022

Hobo Johnson and The Lovemakers are set to perform at Vicar Street in Dublin on February 23rd, 2022.
Tickets for the hip-hop cult hero’s show go on sale this Friday (June 25) at 10am and will be available on Ticketmaster from €25, additional charges may apply.

Hobo Johnson, whose real name is Frank Lopes Jr., is set to release his fourth album, The Revenge Of Hobo Johnson on June 23rd. The album is currently available for pre-save. He has released three singles in 2021 with ‘I want to see the World,’ ‘I want you back,’ and ‘You want a baby,’ all arriving a week apart in June.

Hobo Johnson recently released the video for ‘You want a baby,’ which captures the rapper and his girlfriend in stop-motion. He also released videos for ‘I want to see the World,’ and ‘I want you back.’

The Revenge of Hobo Johnson follows up the success of 2017’s The Rise of Hobo Johnson and The Fall of Hobo Johnson which was released in 2019. He is set to play an album release show at the Crest Theatre in his hometown of Sacramento on June 25th.
