Hermione Hennessy, New Single and Album

With this album, Hermione pays tribute to her father who, before he died, urged her to make it. Since his death, she has been managing his back catalogue and taking care of his impressive legacy, so Songs My Father Taught Me is as much about him as it is about Hermione. In the past she sang with her father on such tracks as ‘Mr. Blue’, ‘Gettin’ Over You’ and ‘If You Were To Fall’.

Soon after the album’s release, Hermione intends to tour, and told Hot Press, “I plan to sing songs he loved, songs I grew up with, songs he wanted me to sing from when I first started playing the piano up to his passing, along with the songs that made the record. And it is my intention to take his music to the world and keep his name alive.”

The debut single ‘Fall At Your Feet’ will be released via iTunes on February 12..

The album Songs My Father Taught Me will be released on March 5.
