Haiku Salut Release New Single Featuring NASA Recordings And Announce New Album
Acclaimed Derbyshire trio Haiku Salut have signed to PRAH recordings and released their latest single from their forthcoming album.
The new single entitled ‘Cold To Crack The Stones’ is an ambient anthem which saw the band manipulate NASA recordings of pulses emitted by lightning to create a unique blend of dream pop and electronica. The track also features a notable contribution from Glastonbury Brass.
The band consists of multi-instrumentalists Gemma Barkerwood, Sophie Barkerwood and Louise Croft and between them play piano, accordion, drums, guitar and more helping them create a truly euphoric sound.
The band released their debut album Tricolore in 2013, to critical acclaim, which was followed in 2015 by the equally acclaimed Etch And Etch Deep. The trio are set to release their 3rd album There Is No Elsewhere on September 7th this year.
