Grooveline announce Button Factory show
The band has come to be known for their high-energy live performances
Grooveline have announced a Dublin show at the Button Factory on April 24.
“Our biggest headline show to date,” said the band in a post announcing the show. “Fresh and dirty session inbound a chairde, you don’t wanna miss it.”
Grooveline’s debut single, ‘Deis Dall’, won them the Comórtas Beo song contest in 2018. Since then, the band has come to be known for their genre-blending music and high-energy live performances.
The band itself is composed of six musically versatile members who play off of one another while performing, stylistically incorporating elements of funk, jazz, hip-hop, rock, and trad.
Grooveline have already headlined such venues as The Grand Social and Whelan’s, to very positive reviews (for example, at their Grand Social performance, they were said to “bring the funking house down”). They have also supported acts like KNEECAP and Kíla.
Supporting acts for their show at the Button Factory have yet to be announced.
Tickets are €20.00 each, and are on sale now.
