The Grand Social to host Ballroom Bash in aid of Australian wildfire relief
All money from entrance fees to The Grand Social's Ballroom Bash this Sunday, 26 January will go towards Wildlife Victoria and Victoria CFA in support of their wildfire relief efforts in Australia.
The Grand Social has announced 'The Ballroom Bash: Australia Day', a benefit concert on 26 January to support Wildlife Victoria and Victoria CFA in their relief efforts for the Australian wildfires.
So far, they have announced Witch Trials, Nerves, and Amy Ellen as performers, with more acts to be named later.
Read the statement from The Grand Social team below:
As you may have heard, the situation in Australia is catastrophic. The death toll is over a billion animals perished, 2000+ homes gone and 20 million hectares of land burned.
People are quite literally choking on smoke and left without water. Entire communities have turned to ash. The devastation for these people is unimaginable.
The world is rallying and we should too!
We are holding a Wildfire Relief fundraiser in association with Bsme great musicians and fantastic people with all entrance fees going to Australian bushfire charities, specifically Wildlife Victoria and Victoria CFA.
Lets' do this! Sharing is caring, lets pack the place with some great craic and lovely people all for a well needed cause, we are one world!
