Graham Hopkins leaves Boss Volenti
Just days after playing a barnstormer of a show with them at Electric Picnic, Graham Hopkins is stepping down as Boss Volenti drummer due to other commitments.
“Although this situation is tough on everybody concerned, we’ve agreed that it’s in the band's best interests that we continue on without him,” reads an official band communiqué.
“Dan, Laura and Rob thank Graham wholeheartedly for the huge amount of work put into the group over the past three years. But we must motor on… and so, we have been invited by RTÉ to perform as special guests at the School Of Rock competition on Sunday 3rd November, where our good friend and ex-Angels of Moons drummer Simon Freedman will be sitting in with us.
"We’ve already started the process of looking for a replacement, but if anyone unknown to the group wishes to audition we’re interested to hear from them. Please contact [email protected] where you can leave us a message, accompanied by some audio or video clips of you playing.”
