Grace Jones added to Electric Picnic

Grace Jones heads the latest acts to be added to the bill for Stradbally's Electric Picnic next month.

Jones, who’s recently been linked with the James Bond Quantum Of Solace theme tune – along with many others! – will be previewing her first album of new material in nearly two decades, Hurricane, which is due in October and features cameos by Tricky, Brian Eno and Sly & Robbie.

Also added are Brooklyn singer Joan as Policewoman, electro-pop sensation Dan Deacon, Berlin duo Booka Shade and Canadian electronic wizard Deadmau5.

This news comes after the brains behind the Picnic, POD Concerts, settled their dispute with IMRO over royalty payments, meaning that the festival is now 100% go for August 29-31.
