Glen Hansard and Hot Press' David Rooney raise money in fight against homelessness
Ahead of a string of concerts across Ireland, Glen Hansard has collaborated with Hot Press illustrator David Rooney to reproduce Rooney's homeless-themed illustration, featured in the new issue of Hot Press, as a limited run poster to raise money for charity.
Glen Hansard is well known for his activism, and as recently as today, he performed at a protest against homelessness outside the Dáil, as part of the 'My Name Is' campaign.

Now, with a winter tour beginning this evening (December 12) in Galway Town Hall, Glen and David will be selling signed prints of David's timely illustration.
There will be 250 of these high quality A3 prints available at Glen’s December gigs. As well as this, a number of prints will be available at Hot Press' offices (13 Trinity Street, Dublin). They will be priced at €20, with all proceeds going to Inner City Help The Homeless.
