Gig For Gaza announced in Maynooth
All proceeds from the event will go to the Sameer Project.
Gig For Gaza is an evening of music and solidarity taking place on Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maynooth Students' Union Venue.
The concert will feature performances from Abdullah al Bayyari, Leen Marrouf, Aziz Abushark, Bana Abu Zuluf, Ryan Molloy, and Fergal Scahill. Blending traditional music from Ireland and Palestine, the event promises a moving and memorable night.
This gig is part of the Maynooth Festival of Palestinian Culture, running from April 7 to 10. The four-day festival celebrates Palestinian identity through photography, dance, circus, literature, film, sport, food, and music.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Sameer Project, a rapid-response initiative delivering vital aid to displaced families across the Gaza Strip. Their work includes providing shelter, medical treatment, food, clean water, diapers, formula, and other essential supplies.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door on the night.
