Get your skate punks on
Good Charlotte rock out at TBMC
The newest skate punk millionaires on the block, Good Charlotte, tread Irish soil for the first time on January 25 when they play the Temple Bar Music Centre.
Pride of place will doubtless go to The Young & The Hopeless, their second album which sold 750,000 copies during its first week of Stateside release.
Although brought up in Washington DC, the band's identical twin frontmen, Benji and Joel Madden, both qualify for Ireland by dint of their Mum being from Limerick. Oh yeah, and having tricolors tattooed on their arms.
Upping the ante further is the fact that Benji and Joel have their own MTV show, All Things Rock, which airs Stateside every weeknight at 11pm.
The Young & The Hopeless is released here next month.
