Fred make iTunes Canada's 'Single of the Week'

One of the most promising of the new breed of Irish 'real-pop' acts, Fred, signed a deal with the Canadian label Sparks Music in September. The band have just returned from their appearance at this year's prestigious Pop Montreal and their album Go God Go is due for Canadian release in February 2009

Go God Go, their third studio album, was released in Ireland in May and has been widely praised as one of the strongest Irish releases of 2008. With two singles already getting strong radio support, they are shaping up to be one of the hottest new bands of the year here.

FRED release their third single, from Go God Go in Ireland on 14th November 'The Lights' before embarking on a nationwide tour.
