The Dubliner dropped hints via his Instagram yesterday with a short video, following a series of Instagram stories showing the artist dropping off promotional coasters around various Dublin pubs and record shops.

It would be the first release from For Those I Love since his eponymous debut album, which won a Choice Music Prize for Album of the Year and was nominated for an Ivor Novello. Following it's first release in 2019, the LP was later picked up and given a studio release by September Records in 2021.
The hugely poignant, raw and emotional project was created following the death of his best friend, artist and poet Paul Curran. Created in Balfe’s shed in north Dublin, the Donaghmede artist dedicated the album to Paul, his friends and family. The record debuted at No. 2 on the Irish albums chart, a was deemed a "dark and beautiful release" in the Hot Press review.
