Foo Fighters back in Europe at NOS Alive Festival 2017
After first sharing a digital passport on their website, the Foo Fighters announced their first tour date of 2017 – the NOS Alive festival in Portugal.
The Foo Fighters have excited their fans by sharing a photo of Europe from space with Portugal illuminated - teasing an announcement for a European tour.
Many fans were waiting for the Foo Fighters to return to Europe. During their last tour, the Sonic Highways World Tour in 2015, many of the European tour dates had to be cancelled due to vocalist Dave Grohl’s unfortunate leg fracture.
Now finally it is confirmed. The Foo Fighters will join the previously announced headliner Depeche Mode at the festival.
First playing on NOS Alive in 2011, the Foo Fighters return to Portugal. They’ll be performing as a headliner on Friday, July 7. The NOS Alive festival is a music and arts festival taking place in Algés, Portugal. It first took place in 2007 with famous headliners like Linkin Park, Metallica or Calvin Harris, over the years.
Now, after confirming their concert at NOS Alive, Foo Fighters fans are left wondering if this could be the first of more European tour dates.
