Fontaines D.C. to play Iveagh Gardens show next July
This fiendishly cold Wednesday morning has been warmed up by the news that Fontaines D.C. will play their biggest Irish headliner yet on July 4 in Dublin's Iveagh Gardens.
Tickets priced €38 go on sale at 9am on Friday November 15 and won't be hanging around for long.
With the follow up to Dogrel out by then, it should be one hell of a hometown celebration for the band who've pretty much owned 2019. More immediately, there are two extremely sold-out Vicar St., Dublin shows to look forward to on December 7 and 8 and the Ulster Hall, Belfast on December 12. Needless to say, Hot Press will be in the thick of the action!
There was more good news for the chaps last year as Rough Trade made Dogrel their Album of the Year, which is yet another indie badge of honour.
