Flogging Molly go top 5 in US chart
Flogging Molly – fronted by Dubliner Dave King – are currently riding high in the US charts.
Hot on the heels of Glen and Marketa’s Once soundtrack going top 10 there, Flogging Molly have debuted at number four on the American album chart with Float.
The Los Angeles folk-punkers – think The Pogues with added powerchordage – are fronted by expat Dubliner Dave King who previously served time with local heroes Q.E.D. and Motorhead spin-off Fastway.
The follow-up to 2004’s Within A Mile Home, which made it into the Billboard Top 20, its standouts include ‘(No More) Paddy’s Lament’, ‘Punch Drunk Grinning Soul’, ‘Between A Man And A Woman’ and ‘The Story So Far’.
