Fionn Regan and The Thrills nominated for Shortlist Prize
The Thrills and Fionn Regan have been nominated for the 2008 Shortlist Prize, the U.S. equivalent of the Mercury Prize.
The list of nominees for the Shortlist is rather, er, long, with 54 of 2007's finest long-players getting the nod, including offerings from Arcade Fire, Klaxons, Bjork, MIA, Josh Ritter, Kings Of Leon, PJ Harvey, Justice, Stars and LCD Soundsystem
Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody is among the panel of judges for this year's prize, who will be whittling down the list to 10 finalists in the coming weeks.
