Feist pulls out of Arcade Fire tour in response to Win Butler accusations
Feist has issued a statement about her decision to pull out of Arcade Fire’s WE tour, which started this week with two dates in the Dublin 3Arena.
This follows allegations of sexual misconduct directed at Win Butler, claims which the Arcade Fire mainman has denied.
Having heard the breaking news in Dublin, Feist chose to donate all of the proceeds earned from her merchandise stall at the 3Arena to Women’s Aid locally.
“It can be a lonely road to make sense of ill treatment," the Canadian reflects. "I can’t solve that by quitting, and I can’t solve it by staying. But I can’t continue.”
