Fate Awards planned for Belfast this month

Gary Lightbody, Ronan Keating and BBC Radio One DJ Fergie are among the musical guests at the 2008 Fate Awards, which take place in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on February 22.
Part of the proceeds from Norn Iron’s premier red carpet event will be going to the Oh Yeah music centre whose supporters include the aforementioned Mr. Lightbody and the rest of Snow Patrol.
Also getting dickie-bowed up for the occasion are Jimmy Nesbitt, Eddie Jordan, Eddie Irvine, Rosanna Davison, Danielle Lloyd, Christine Bleakley, Gerry Armstrong, Paul Rankin and Sophie Anderton, who’ll be making one of her first public appearances since being outed as a high-class prostitute.
