Fans praise Billie Eilish for flying economy
The Grammy-winner will headline this year’s Electric Picnic festival in Strabdally Co, Laois.
Fans have praised Billie Eilish for flying economy class, despite her status as a world-famous singer.
A viral Tik-Tok shows a fan spotting Eilish a few rows ahead in the economy class of a Brussels Airlines flight.
“Pov: you’re in a plane with Billie (Still can’t believe wtf just happened),” read the caption of the video.
Fans in the comment section sang their praises for the artist.
“For this long I thought billie was flying on a private jet”, said one user. “I would just go to the bathroom in the front every 5 minutes to look at her,” said another.
In recent years Eilish has advocated for environmental responsibility. On 30 August she will host a climate action event,
OVERHEATED, in London.

Elsewhere, the artist shared her admiration for Lana Del Rey on Dua Lipa’s At Your Service podcast.
“I feel that album changed music and especially changed music for girls and the potential of what is possible,” said Elish in reference to Del Rey’s Born To Die.
The Bad Guy singer also discussed her changing creative process during her work on her third album.
“Everything is different about it. I’ve been trying to compare it recently, just because I’m getting used to doing it in a different way,” she said.
“And, you know, touring for a year-and-a-half, then coming back to it, and being way older – and not even much older, but again, the jump between 18 and 21 is a big jump. Just mentally and physically, and realistically. It’s just been completely different.”
