Family friendly festival Oakfest set for the beginning of June.
The festival in Donegal is suitable for all ages.
From 1-2 June, Oakfest will take place in Oakfield Park, Raphoe, Co. Donegal
Line-up: Alabama 3 Acoustic, The Academic, Little Hours, Cronin, Ryan McMullan, The Frank & Walters, Rory & The Island, State Lights, The Lost, The Davy K Project, Makings, String Empire, DD & The Delta Boys, Mark Black & Izabel, Cherym and Control The Dark
How does two days spent embracing music, food and family fun sound? Running across two stages in the beautiful Donegal countryside, Oakfest brings all the elements of a cracking festival together. As if a stacked line-up of top national and international acts weren't enough, Oakfest dot the quirkiest of events for all the family around the park, while dishing up artisan deliciousness from local foodie producers. The littlest of music lovers can bust a move in the Mini-Disco Dome, get their faces painted and explore the nature trails throughout the park. Let's keep our fingers crossed for some good weather during the June Bank Holiday!
Hot Press Picks: Performing on their home turf in Dún na nGall, Little Hours lead singer John Doherty will be in his absolute element. A rousing rendition of 'Water' is very much on the cards.
