Explosions In The Sky to play Vicar Street in February
Tickets for the Texan post-rock group's Dublin gig go on sale on Wednesday, July 10.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Explosions In The Sky are back on the road. After an Autumn tour of North America, the post-rock group are set to cross the Atlantic with a gig at Dublin's Vicar Street on February 13.
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Explosions In The Sky are earned a reputation for their intense, yet triumphant, live shows over the last 20 years. Since the release of their debut studio album, How Strange, Innocence, in 2000, the band have kept themselves busy with a string of acclaimed releases, including scores for Friday Night Lights (2004), Prince Avalanche (2013), Manglehorn (2014) and Lone Survivor (2013). The Wilderness, Explosions In The Sky's latest album, was released in 2016.
"We hope to see some of you out there," the band wrote on Twitter, announcing their 20th anniversary shows. "And thanks so much for sticking with us for so long."
Tickets for their Dublin gig are €36.15 inclusive of booking fee, and go on sale this Wednesday, July 10. See Ticketmaster for more information.
