The Americana influenced Mongrel State have exclusively premiered their latest video 'Monster' with Hot Press.

It's the second track to be released from their fantastic first LP Mestizo. The track follows hot on the heels of their first single ‘Stray Dogs’, which received countrywide airplay, and was featured on RTE Radio 1’s playlist.

The four-piece hail from four different countries: Darren Flynn (bass/vocals) is Irish, Claudio Mercante (guitar/vocals) is Italian, Guillermo Gonzalez Rodriguez (keyboards/guitar/percussion/vocals) is Spanish, and Sebastian Jezzi (drums/vocals) is Argentinian.

Their mix of nationalities brings together a mix or rock, western and a host of other styles are put through the wringer - with honkytonk pianos & four part harmonies sitting side-by-side with New Orleans grooves, electric guitars and even the odd inflection of a synth, all underpinned by taut, inventive songwriting.
