With Electric Picnic just around the corner, here's what you need to know ahead of Ireland's biggest music festival.
Essential Info:
Electric Picnic will take place August 29-31 in Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, Co. Laois.
The festival will be fully cashless.
What not to bring:
Certain items are permitted in campsites but not arenas. Check the full list of prohibited items here.
No bags larger than A4 size (210 x 297 mm) will be permitted outside of campsites.
Megaphones, disposable vapes, glass items over 100ml, illegal or unidentifiable substances, weapons of any kind, kites, walkie – talkies, spray cans and unofficial hi-viz or reflective jackets won't be permitted anywhere inside the festival.
Travel:
In terms of transportation, the festive offers a wide variety of options including car, bus and train.
Parking will be free for all ticket holders.
Marathon coaches:
If you're coming from Dublin City, the easiest way to get to and from the Electric Picnic is by Marathon coaches.
Buses depart from North Wall Quay, (Bus stop number 7623) on Thursday-Sunday and return Saturday-Sunday.

Departure Times from Dublin:
Thursday: 14:00 – 19:00, on the hour, each hour.
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00, every half hour; 13:00 – 18:00, on the hour, each hour.
Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00, on the hour, each hour.
Sunday: 10:00 – 12:00 noon, on the hour, each hour.
Return Times from Electric Picnic:
Saturday Night: 23:00, 00:00, and 01:00.
Sunday: 14:00 – 00:00, every hour.
Sunday Night / Monday Morning: 01:00 – 14:00, every hour.
Camping:
The festival offers a number of campsites.
Public campsites:
All weekend festival tickets come with access to all standard campsites. These include the Jimi Hendrix, Samuel Beckett, Andy Warhol, Ériu and Janis Joplin campsites.
Facilities will include showers, toilets and Get Ready With Me stations which include mirrors, straighteners and hairdryers.
All public campsites will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 29 and will be operating 24 hours a day.
They work in a first come first serve basis, without pre-booked tent locations.
All sites will be named a colour-coded for easy finding.
You cannot drive into the campsites at any time.
Pre-booked campsites:
New this year, Electric Picnic will be offering pre-booked campsite options at no additional cost. These will include the Glitterball, Eco, Poets, and An Láthair Ghaeltachta campsites.
Weekend ticket holders can register for pre-booked options here.
Boutique campsites:
If the public campsites aren't your style, Electric Picnic also offers a number of boutique camping options that can be found here.
