Eminem to quit after Slane?
The word from the States is that Eminem is planning to retire from live performance following his September 17 show at Slane Castle.
“Em has definitely got to the level where he feels like he’s accomplished everything he can accomplish in rap,” proffers one his musical associates, Proof.
“He wants to kick back and get into the production thing. Why not bow out while you’re on top?”
While manager Paul Rosenberg says, “There’s been no official decision”, he admits that Slane “will certainly put the cap on this part of Eminem’s career.”
According to a report in the Detroit Free Press newspaper, Mathers has told other friends locally that he wants to become a “star-maker.”
