Ellie Goulding knocks The Boss off the top
Springsteen finally dethroned...
It's all change at the top of the Irish Album Charts this week as Ellie Goulding ascends to the coveted number one spot with Halcyon/Halcyon Days following a long tussle with Bruce Springsteen's High Hopes, which drops to second place in its third week of release.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé climbs from #9 to #3 with her self-titled effort, while The Gloaming move up two spots to #4 and Kodaline's Choice-nominated In A Perfect World also climbs, taking fifth place on this week's chart.
James Vincent McMorrow, One Direction, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Emeli Sandé round out the top ten. For the full chart rundown, click here.
Look out for an in-depth interview with Ms Goulding in a forthcoming issue of Hot Press.
