Electric Picnic ticket deposit scheme + Florence meet & greet auction
Yup, creative marketing is alive and well!
The Electric Picnic is following in Oxegen’s footsteps by operating a ticket scheme whereby purchasers using their credit card pay €80 now, a further €80 on June 30 and the third installment on August 20.
In another piece of creative marketing, Florence and The Machine fans are being asked to bid for a ticket to her sold-out Olympia Theatre show on May 3 and an accompanying Meet & Greet with the recent Hot Press cover star.
You have until 4pm on Monday April 19 to make a bid at [link]www.ticketmaster.ie/auction/18004434C1663C50/1/[/link].
Before you accuse Ms. Welch of being a bourgeoisie capitalist, we ought to point out that all proceeds will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
