Eels storm to top of Irish indie chart
After yet another mouth-watering Record Store Day, Delorentos' special release is the highest Irish new entry.
Eels' 11th offering, The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett, has knocked Celi De Collective’s Easter-themed Hymns Of Passion And Resurrection off the top spot on this week's Irish Indie Album Chart. The latter moved down to number 5.
Elsewhere, The Gloaming, Arctic Monkeys, Nathan Carter, London Grammar, Villagers, Passenger and Future Islands all remain in the top ten.
Delorentos' Record Store Day offering turned and lot of heads and got plenty of tills ringing, as Unbroken, Untied became the highest new Irish entry at No. 14.
Pixies' critical opinion-dividing Indie Cindy comes in at No. 13 while Iveagh Gardens-bound The National sneak back into the Top 20 with Trouble Will Find Me at No. 17.
