Ed Sheeran will release new music this Friday
Ed Sheeran left a pretty strong hint on Facebook on Sunday that new music would be released on Friday.
This will be Sheeran's first release since his last album X came out back in 2014.
The singer also indicated in an online video that his new album will be titled ÷ (Divide), keeping with the mathematical motif from his two previous offerings.
X has currently spent a whopping 81 weeks in the Irish Album Charts, clocking in at third at the end of December 2016. Much-loved in Ireland, the Suffolk singer has toured here extensively, playing stadium shows as well as busking in Dublin streets.
