Ed Sheeran tops album charts with a one-two
+ and x are the best-selling albums in the country ahead of Croke Park gigs
With 160,000 people suffering from a severe bout of Sheeran fever this weekend, it's little surprise to see Ed at the top of the Irish album charts.
It is, however, unusual to see an artist claiming both top spots, but that's exactly what the flame-haired hero has managed this week, with x at No. 1, followed by debut effort +.
His bestie Taylor Swift is at No. 3 with 1989, while Nathan Carter and Hozier hold strong at fourth and fifth respectively.
Tame Impala are the week's highest new entry at No. 7, while there's little movement elsewhere; Years and Years, Florence + The Machine and Kodaline all maintaining a presence in the top ten.
