Ed Sheeran to play in HMV, Dublin
We're going to need a bigger store...
In a week where the big musical event was meant to be 400,000 people in Croke Park, it might instead be 0.001% of that crowd in a Henry Street branch of HMV.
That's where the cover star of the current issue of Hot Press, Ed Sheeran, will be making an 'intimate' appearance. Pop's hottest property will be signing copies of his new album, x, and playing an acoustic set for just 40 lucky fans. The attendees were chosen in a draw of everyone who bought a copy of the album last week.
It follows on from similar appearances from the likes of Biffy Clyro, John Newman and 5 Seconds of Summer earlier this year.

The whole shebang will be broadcast live on The Louise Duffy Show on Today FM.
