Even the legendary Dr. Dre couldn't keep the honorary Irishman down for long.
His amazing summer run, which saw both of his chart occupy the top spots on the Irish Albums Chart, was briefly interrupted last week, but Ed Sheeran has returned to the summit. Now 61 weeks on the chart, the singer's second LP, X, is this week's biggest selling album.
Another perennial pop favourite rising this week is Taylor Swift. Her 1989 climbs from No. 6 into second place. Hozier's debut holds firm in third.
Country star Nathan Carter jumps seven spots into fourth place, whilst Kodaline's Coming Up For Air rounds off the Top 5.
Dr. Dre's first album this century, Compton, was last week's biggest seller but has to settle from No. 15 this time around. It's worth noting that the physical release has only just hit shelves today (August 21), which will surely boost the hip hop icon back up the chart.
