Durst Among Equals
THE SUMMER GIG stampede continues with Limp Bizkit doing their tattooed nu-metal thing at Punchestown Racecourse on June 26th.
While MCD are remaining tight-lipped about the support acts, hotpress understands that they’re likely to include Deftones, Outkast and Godsmack.
Prior to that the band will be starting work on the follow-up to Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavoured Water.
Promising the “heaviest album you’ve ever heard”, Fred Durst adds that, “We’re going to go in, no air-conditioning, 130 degree room, just mad as fuck. We’ve a lot to say now and we’re really emotional.”
Durst is also working on a film project, Runts, which he says, “will help people understand the underdog. Crazy things are happening that don’t need to be happening, and people are retaliating in the wrong way.”
Tickets for Punchestown are on sale now priced £35.
