Dublin City Today showcase Dublin's Busking music scene!

Set up to promote Dublin's street music talent, 'DCT' has since grown above and beyond, reaching a quarter of a million follows in little over a year!

With the aim of promoting the immense talent in the Dublin busking scene, Dublin City Today launched its Youtube channel in June of 2018. Racking up 270k subscribers and over 50 million channel views, DCT has given the artists they feature an amazing reach beyond the crowds on Grafton Street.

Since its launch, this channel has seen an impressive range of artists - with the likes of viral sensation Allie Sherlock and her moving cover of “Let Her Go”:

And longtime DCT feature Martin McDonnell and his powerful take on “Somebody That I Used to Know”:

DCT manages to capture the supportive community surrounding these artists - particularly in moments witnessed in Jacob Koopman’s rendition of “Perfect” where the crowd joins in with Koopman, erupting in an enthusiastic sing-along.

From Bruce Springsteen and Billie Eilish covers to artist originals - there’s no shortage of captivating performances documented by Dublin City Today. If you have yet to get a glimpse into the busking scene in Dublin, this channel is exactly where to start.
