Mr Mono’s got quite a unique take on the Compost sound. The typical elements are all there – smooth vocals, jazz touches, broken beats etc – but Mono’s sparse arrangements (and the undeniable UK garage influence) lend the whole affair an otherworldy warmth and futuristic hue. Wowsers.
