Dua has delighted fans with news of a new single dropping this Friday
Greta Gerwig's upcoming Barbie is set to premiere July 21st.
Dua Lipa has announced that a new song, ‘Dance The Night’, taken from the upcoming Barbie movie, directed by Great Gerwig, is due to drop this Friday, May 26th.
The singer announced the drop with a teaser post on Instagram this afternoon.

The 27-year-old’s announcement comes a week after Canadian singer Alice Glass previewed her cover of Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’ which was recorded for Gerwig’s film.
Bastille’s Dan Smith revealed over the weekend that he had also contributed to film’s soundtrack, having written a couple songs that ended up not being used.
Barbie is set for release July 21st, and has been showing off its star-studded cast with 20 different promotion posters, showcasing Dua Lipa as a mermaid Barbie, Helen Mirren as the narrator, Michael Cera as Allan, and Will Ferrell as the Mattel CEO.
Other notable cast members include America Ferrera, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emma Mackey, and Ireland’s own Nicola Coughlan.
