Dolores O'Riordan & Maverick Sabre for Limerick Culture Bash
Limerick launches its 2014 City Of Culture celebrations with a New Year’s Eve bash taking place under the Spire of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Setting the tone for the 365 days to follow, the headline turn is (possibly ex-) Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan who’ll be performing some of the band’s most famous songs with the Irish Chamber Orchestra. Dolores recently signed up as one of the mentors on The Voice, which returns in the spring.
Also confirmed for the bash is Maverick Sabre whose Lonely Are The Brave album comprehensively conquered the UK top 10 in 2013. Currently assembling the follow-up, Mav has ‘done a Plan B’ by going mainstream without betraying his hip hop roots. His recent ‘My Yout’ hook-up with Joey Bada$$ suggests the States are next! More acts will be announced over the coming weeks.
€15 Early Birds are available now from Ticketmaster.
