Volume Two in the head nodding compilation from Peacefrog offshoot Agenda takes a more indie/lo-fi approach to Vol 1. At times, this new comp suffers a similar fate to the first one – which got a bit too ‘serious’ in places.

This time round, it’s just a bit shit in places… but, as we’re clearly in a good mood today, we’re going to concentrate on the good bits. These come from Wendy and Sue with their early Spiritualized plus added feedback, a typically brilliant offering from Lali Puna, an exceptional slice of melancholy from Calexico and a decent auld blast from the Notwist.

An ideal compilation for all you hotpress rockers that are reading the dance reviews by accident. Now get back to your miserable lives and leave us to our drugs…
