Dinosaur Jr set to play Ireland
The newly reconvened Dinosaur Jr. nip over on August 30 for a show in the Dublin Ambassador.
Featuring the classic line-up of J Mascis, Emmett Murphy and Lou Barlow, the trio are promising the same aural and visceral onslaught that made them such cult favourites during the ‘80s.
Their ‘band of the people’ status is confirmed by a website posting that “invites fans to create audio tapes of our live performance as long as the venue allows for this. We’re asking that they please refrain from shooting any video of these reunion shows as we’re preparing a special DVD that will include footage from this tour.”
