David Rooney releases new single 'Ladder to the Sun'

Aside from providing us with fantastic illustrations, David Rooney does Hot Press a favour every now and again by bringing out cracking tunes for us to listen to.

Working with some of the finest people in the Irish music industry, the video for 'Ladder to the Sun' was recorded under the careful direction of Susanne Bach, with editing skills coming from Jaro Waldeck.

Conor Guilfoyle provides the beat on drums, Jay Wilson is on Piano and harmony vocals, and Bazz Rycraft plays bass on this track, which was put together by mixing master Scott Halliday.

Celebrating the end of the Winter Solstice and the prospect of summer, 'Ladder to the Sun' is a song to get you through the dark nights.
