Danger Mouse and Shins frontman plot new album
The Broken Bells collaboration return with their second work after three years.
A video teaser for After The Disco, the forthcoming album from Broken Bells, has just been released online.
The band also did the usual 'be cryptic on Twitter' thing, with the message: "There may be more than meets the eye... http://www.brokenbells.com/ #AfterTheDisco"
It will be the second time prolific producer Danger Mouse (Gorillaz, Beck, The Rapture) and James Mercer of US literate indie-types The Shins team up and all indications are that we should get the fruits of their labour in January.
To whet your appetite until then, check out the desert-set trailer below.
Broken Bells aside, Danger Mouse has been as busy a boy as ever, completing work on U2's forthcoming studio album this summer. The Shins released their fourth album Port Of Morrow last year.
