With his highly anticipated album set for March release, Damien Dempsey has announced a series of live dates around the country
Damien Dempsey has announced details of his third album, Shots, which is released in Ireland on March 11.
Standouts include 'Party On', 'Spraypaint Back Alley', 'St. Patrick's Day', 'Choctaw Nation', 'Not On Your Own Tonight', 'Hold Me' and the Brian Eno-assisted 'Sing All Our Cares Away'.
There's also an updated version of 'Colony', which appeared on Dempsey's long-since deleted debut, They Don't Teach This Shit In School.
Shots gets a live airing when he plays The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton (March 11); Dolan's, Limerick (12 & 13); Radisson Hotel, Galway (14); Vicar St., Dublin (16 & 17); Ten, Waterford (19); Savoy, Cork (20); Royal Theatre, Castlebar (23); and Empire, Belfast (24).
