Daithi joins Raglans for Whelan's date
He plays support at the band's single launch.
Indie-folk outfit Raglans are set to launch their new single 'NATIVES' with a show in Whelan's, Dublin, on June 28.
To make the €10 admission seem like even more of a bargain, they've just announced that rising star Daithi will be bringing his brand of electronic, synthesised fiddle-playing with him as their special guest on the night.
After that Whelan's date, Raglans embark on a tour of the country, taking in: The Curragh Racecourse, Kildare (29); Fortstock, Clones (July 6); Groove Festival, Bray (7); Spirit Store, Dundalk (26 + The Hot Sprockets); Knockanstockan, Blessington (27); Lodge Bar, Mallow (28 + The Hot Sprockets); Café Sessions, Cavan (August 1); Brian Boru, Tipperary (2); Roisin Dubh, Galway (3); Set Theatre, Kilkenny (4); McHugh’s, Belfast (8); Palace Bar, Navan (9); Slate Sessions, Cork (11); Kavanagh’s, Laois (16) and Dolan’s, Limerick (17).
Having signed recently to ITB – the booking agency that also represents the likes of Robert Plant, Adele, Shakira and Fleetwood Mac – the band will also be becoming intimately acquainted with the UK club circuit.
