Cypress, Mine! announce new album pulling all the clouds apart with single ‘Safe Highway’
The band returns after an almost 40-year hiatus.
Cork-based pop outfit Cypress, Mine! have announced their new album, titled pulling all the clouds apart. The album will release on February 13, 2026.
The band, which formed in 1983, is back after an almost 40-year hiatus.
With the album announcement comes a new single, 'Safe Highway'. The song follows Cypress, Mine!'s November 2025 release of 'Spellbinding'.
'Safe Highway' was inspired by Seán Ó Tuama's poem "Siúlóid in Éirinn" from his 1997 book Death in the Land of Youth.
The track emulates the signature jangly sound heard on the band's 1987 debut Exit Trashtown.
Cypress, Mine! have announced several upcoming Irish gigs, including one at Dublin's BelloBar on March 21, 2026. Tickets are available now.
