Cruel Sister has released a new single ‘IRON PILLS’ ahead of her upcoming EP, A CORPSE IS TALKING, out July 30.
Also known as Faith Nico, the artist also announced her debut headline tour, with dates in Glendalough, Galway, Limerick, Belfast and Dublin. Pre-sale for her Dublin and Belfast dates kick off on Friday, with general sales beginning next Tuesday.
“I CANT WAIT TO PLAY THESE SONGS FOR YOU, ” Nico wrote on Instagram.
Along with ‘IRON PILLS’ comes an accompanying music video, directed and produced by Ruth Hodder and inspired by the Dublin goth scene. The electronic track blends 90’s trip-hop with breakbeat and industrial influences. It was recorded in Nico’s bedroom in Dublin, and was self-produced and self-written.
The new song follows the release of ‘XOXO’ back in January, giving listeners a first look into A CORPSE IS TALKING. Her last EP, Turgid, was released in September of 2023.
