Concert-goer Mowed Down At Dutch Music Festival
A 34-year-old man has been arrested after his white Fiat Doblo van ploughed into music fans near the PinkPop festival in Landgraaf, which is in the south of the Netherlands, killing one person.
It's unclear if the act was intentional or an accident, which happened at 4am local time, but the driver immediately fled the scene.
The driver later handed himself into local police some 140 miles away from the capital.
Bruno Mars had closed the festival several hours before the accident occurred.
The festival organisers said they are "deeply shocked" by the accident. They added: “It’s really terrible that such a great party should come to such an abrupt end.”
