Choice Music Prize nominations announced

Tracy Clifford revealed the shortlist for the albums of the year on her 2FM show this afternoon.

The winner of this year's Choice Music Prize will be announced at a show at Vicar Street on March 7, where many of the artists are also expected to perform. The event will also be broadcast live on RTE 2FM.

Last year's winners where the dark horse option - electronic duo Ships - who took home a €10,000 cheque for their self-titled debut album.
